Version 2.1 of the barectf project has been released.
The major new feature is the ability to include one or more external YAML files as the base properties of the metadata, clock, trace, stream, and event objects.

The Linux Foundation, the nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Linux and collaborative development, today announced the DiaMon workgroup, which is creating a de-facto standard for tracing and monitoring infrastructure in order to improve diagnostics of Linux user space programs.
